Create a PLI Project

To create a project:

  1. Start Eclipse using the workspace c:\tutorials.
    1. If you have started Eclipse with another workspace, click File > Switch Workspace > Other, and enter c:\tutorials.
    2. Click OK. Eclipse now exits and restarts with the new workspace as the development folder.
  2. Make sure that the Team Developer Perspective is your active Eclipse perspective and load the Enterprise Developer Projects application in the Team Developer Tree view.

  3. Right-click Enterprise Developer Projects in the Team Developer Tree and selectNew PLI Project > Mainframe PLI Project.
  4. Enter PLIJCLdemo in the Project Name field.
  5. Select the Use default location check box. This should use C:\tutorials and the project name (PLIJCLdemo) as the location, as shown in the Location field. If it does not, clear the Use default location check box and click Browse to browse to that location.
  6. Click Finish.This will add the project in the Team Developer Tree view.

Next you will add some programs to your project.
