Importing Relative to the Catalog File Folder

If the import location that you specify starts with the <catalogfolder> keyword, the keyword is replaced by the path of the folder containing the catalog file specified by the /CATLOC argument.

You must enclose the import location in quotes when using the <catalogfolder> keyword.

Example:

MFDAS IMPORT "<catalogfolder>\data\*.*" FROM AUTO mfi01.test.cobol /CATLOC=c:\proj\catalog.dat

Executing this command results in the following files being imported:

• c:\proj\data\MFI01.TEST.COBOL\ (PDS folder)
• c:\proj\data\MFI01.TEST.COBOL\VSAMDEMO.CBL (PDS member)
• c:\proj\data\MFI01.TEST.COBOL\VSAMDEM2.CBL (PDS member)
