Preface

This book describes EuroSmart and how you can use it in preparation for transformation to the euro. The book also explains the underlying Revolve software, its graphical environment and the tools integrated with it.

This book is available on paper and viewable with your Web browser or with Acrobat Reader. You can also print the book from Acrobat Reader or order additional printed and bound copies from Micro Focus.

Structure of this Book

This book is divided into the following parts:

Part 1 Introduction - This gives an overview of the product: the analysis tools and the underlying Revolve database. It also outlines the issues involved in converting applications to use the euro and how EURO Product can beneficially be used outside the conventional application analysis scenario.
Part 2 EuroSmart - This describes the strategy and process for identifying areas of your applications that might require modification in order to process euro-based transactions. It also contains details on how to use EuroSmart to find monetary points of interest, how to use the worksheet and how to obtain reports.
Part 3 Revolve - This contains further details on how to use Revolve, which provides the environment that the EuroSmart analysis tools operate on.
Part 4 Appendices - These contain additional reference material.
