- Quarter 1, 2, and 3: Innovation releases. Innovation releases will be in Current Maintenance for 1 year, with full engineering support and technical support. These releases will be the YY.1, YY.2, and YY.3 versions. - Quarter 4: Long-term Support release. Long-term Support releases will be in Current Maintenance for 3 years, with full engineering support and technical support. This release will be the YY.4 version.
We encourage customers to move to the Quarter 4 Long-term Support release when it becomes available, as it will be supported for a longer period of time. When a release exits Current Maintenance and enters Sustaining Maintenance, Extended Support is available for 2 years for a fee for customers who need to contact technical support and would like to receive patches for critical issues. After the first 2 years of Sustaining Maintenance, Limited Extended Support is available for a fee for customers who would like continued access to technical support. Customers with an active support agreement will continue receiving technical support for Content Manager versions in Sustaining Maintenance until September 1, 2025.
Effective September 1,2025, an Extended Support / Limited Extended Support program will be required to receive technical support for versions in Sustaining Maintenance. |

- Committed Support Year 2: This is the second twelve-month period from Release Date. Severity 1 & 2 defects and critical vulnerabilities with a NIST 7 or higher rating will be addressed.
- Committed Support Year 3: This is the third twelve-month period from Release Date. Critical vulnerabilities with a NIST 7 or higher rating will be addressed.
The versions numbered X.Y.# or X.Y SP# are considered a Service Pack release. Each Service Pack will receive one year of Committed Support for from its release date. After the first year, the support level and support end dates will conform to the closest Minor Release it based on. |

Open Enterprise Server will release four product updates a year as follows: ·Quarter 1, 2, 3: Innovation releases. Innovation releases will be in Current Maintenance for 1 year, with full engineering support and technical support. These releases will be YY.1, YY.2, and YY.3 versions

Additional information on the below is available here. OpenText has an alternative reporting solution built on the OPTIC Data Lake. We recommend downloading and retaining all OBR versions you might require in the future to perform an upgrade from older OBR versions to the latest version. We will no longer be able to distribute any OBR versions after October 31st, 2021. OBR is also entitled to use in Operations Bridge Premium and Ultimate, Network Automation Premium and Ultimate, Network Operations Management Express, Premium and Ultimate, Server Automation, DCA Express, Premium and Ultimate.OPTIC reporting contains many enhancements over OBR, including the ability to view cross-domain data on a single report, direct access to data in the OPTIC Data Lake (powered by Vertica) with a documented schema, and the ability to use the Business Intelligence (BI) tool of your choice to visualize your IT metrics. The OPTIC Data Lake also allows you to use the graphing tool of your choice, such as Grafana (each documented via whitepaper), and to perform your own Machine Learning on the stored data. In addition to reporting, the OPTIC platform also provides Analytics and Performance dashboard / Performance troubleshooting capabilities on the same data. ArcSight divides its Current Support period into 3 phases:- Current Support Year 1: This is the first twelve-months from Release Date. Hotfixes, patches, service packs, and security updates will be provided as deemed appropriate and necessary.
- Current Support Year 2: This is the second twelve-month period from Release Date. Severity 1 & 2 defects and critical vulnerabilities with a NIST 7 or higher rating will be addressed.
- Current Support Year 3: This is the third twelve-month period from Release Date. Critical vulnerabilities with a NIST 7 or higher rating will be addressed.

| Content Manager will release four product updates a year as follows: - Quarter 1, 2, and 3: Innovation releases. Innovation releases will be in Current Maintenance for 1 year, with full engineering support and technical support. These releases will be the YY.1, YY.2, and YY.3 versions. - Quarter 4: Long-term Support release. Long-term Support releases will be in Current Maintenance for 3 years, with full engineering support and technical support. This release will be the YY.4 version.
We encourage customers to move to the Quarter 4 Long-term Support release when it becomes available, as it will be supported for a longer period of time. When a release exits Current Maintenance and enters Sustaining Maintenance, Extended Support is available for 2 years for a fee for customers who need to contact technical support and would like to receive patches for critical issues. After the first 2 years of Sustaining Maintenance, Limited Extended Support is available for a fee for customers who would like continued access to technical support. Customers with an active support agreement will continue receiving technical support for Content Manager versions in Sustaining Maintenance until September 1, 2025.
Effective September 1,2025, an Extended Support / Limited Extended Support program will be required to receive technical support for versions in Sustaining Maintenance. |
