Description

One of the overall themes of the New Style of IT is Cloud, which definitely results in the explosion of IT Service suppliers. Many CIOs are now using traditional outsourced IT services and cloud options to deliver business services within their enterprises.

 

A cloud-based infrastructure enables IT organizations to establish and support services quickly. However, the movement to Cloud is demanding that IT become a Service Broker as well as a Service provider. In order to make this transformation, an ITSM solution needs to support the integration of multiple internal suppliers with external suppliers from different ecosystems.

Service Manager 9.34 includes a common case exchange framework, which integrates workflows, processes and data for existing service management systems that expose web service. Additionally, the framework allows extending to all processes. This gives organizations the power to collaborate better by using their own processes and tools while leveraging tools across multi-supplier environments. Furthermore, the case exchange paradigms empower monitoring of supplier success and compliance.
