Operations Connector for Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) integrates SCOM and Operations Bridge Manager (OBM) so that the gathered systems management data about the events, topology, and metrics in an SCOM environment is made available to OBM. Such data can then be monitored and processed properly within OBM. Operations Connector for SCOM therefore enables you to establish a link between an SCOM environment and operations management in OBM.
The integration provides the following functionality:
Note: It requires an Operations Connector 10.01 or higher on a supported Windows operating system.

What's new in connector for SCOM 2021.11:
Integration support of OPTIC Data Lake with Connector for SCOM: The connector for SCOM 2021.11 is now designed to support integration with OPTIC Data Lake. OPTIC Data Lake provides a framework for collecting data from different sources and storing it in a single datastore. OPTIC Data Lake can receive and process data that are high in volume and velocity, from several independent data sources. SCOM connector segregates the data and sends them to different tables in OPTIC Data Lake, based on metric classes. See, Configure connectors to send metrics to OPTIC Data Lake.
View multiple CI reports :In case the same resource is monitored by different connectors, you can plot graphs with data from different connectors, for the same resource(CI).

What is new in this release :
Deployment
With this release, you must deploy policies to view events, metrics, and topology from SCOM, using Operations Bridge Manager(OBM) instead of using the Operations Connector web interface.
Discovery for Microsoft SharePoint:
Connector for SCOM now supports discovery of Microsoft SharePoint instances in your SCOM domain manager. You must import the OOTB OpsCx.Topology.SharePoint Management Pack to view the SharePoint topology in OBM.
Out of the box view for topology
With this release, you can visualize the SCOM CIs and corresponding components discovered by Connector for SCOM in OBM. You can view RTSM views for SCOM Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, SQL and SharePoint.
