Business Value Dashboard (BVD) brings your data to life and can be used to create custom, flexible dashboards that visualize information from sources in an informative and appealing way. These dashboards can be accessed anywhere, anytime, from any device. This package enables you to monitor instances of Data Protector cell managers in your network. The scripts in the package collect data from target cell managers and publish the collection to BVD. The dashboard displays the updated data, which can be used by your executives and operational personnel to get insights into the health of their backup environment.
The scripts provide a base set of metrics, which can be customized easily to meet your particular needs. By default, three groups of cell managers can be monitored through this integration, though you can scale number up or down as per your requirement.
