In APM, the usage of log4j does not cause the vulnerability to manifest. If there is a requirement to remove the log4j 1.x in the APM installations, a hotfix is available to replace log4j 1.x with reload4j. The hotfix needs to be installed on Application Performance Management 9.51 IP2.

The Hotfix should be applied on top of APM 9.51 IP2 patch. Refer to the Readme for instructions to apply the hotfix.Please note that this same hotfix is already available in the Hotfix manager.
