The ALM Business Views Microsoft Excel Add-in appears as an additional tab in MS Excel, allowing you to populate worksheets based on ALM Business Views - without the need to open ALM. You can use rich Excel toolset to view and analyze the data. This feature also provides advanced editing capabilities by allowing you to populate the worksheet from a DQL query defined on top of one or more existing business views. Once you have structured and refined your data in Excel, the report can be saved locally as a file or in the ALM Analysis View tree, so that it can be used for future reporting purposes. From ALM 12.00, Business View Excel reports can be created using data from multiple projects.
Note:
Office 64 bit is supported by Business Views Microsoft Excel Add-in since ALM 12.60.
