Micro Focus recognized by SIEM analysts as visionary and a leader as portfolio’s SaaS offering advances
SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Dec. 13, 2022 — CyberRes, a Micro Focus (LSE: MCRO; NYSE: MFGP) line of business, today provided a review of the past year’s successes for the ArcSight security operations portfolio as customers continue to strive for greater cyber resilience entering 2023. The CyberRes IT security operations portfolio includes ArcSight, an end-to-end SIEM platform for accelerating effective threat detection and response, and Galaxy, CyberRes’ new advanced cyberthreat research platform for delivering contextually relevant security insights.

In the past 12 months, CyberRes enhanced its security operations offering with a number of key innovations, including CyberRes Galaxy, which provides rapid, tailored threat insight to accelerate response time and drive business performance. Galaxy’s release was soon followed by the release of Galaxy Threat Acceleration Program Basic and Plus (GTAP/GTAP+), which provides an integrated threat intelligence feed, as well as countermeasures for emerging threats, directly into ArcSight.
Most recently, CyberRes launched Security Orchestration Automation and Response (SOAR) for ArcSight SaaS, which brings native out-of-the-box response automation and advanced investigation capabilities to ArcSight’s existing SaaS-based portfolio.

In 2023 CyberRes ArcSight will move beyond traditional SIEM SaaS capabilities by adding real-time threat detection to the ArcSight SaaS platform as well as by advancing further in the threat intelligence, threat detection, and threat hunting spaces.
