Using COBOL and Java Together

This section uses the following terminology to indicate the syntax of the COBOL language:

• Procedural COBOL - regular native COBOL without any of the Micro Focus OO syntax extensions or the OO syntax for the JVM.
• Native OO COBOL - native COBOL which uses the Micro Focus OO syntax extensions. This is different to the OO syntax for the JVM.
