To change the system directory

Windows platforms:

1. In ESCWA, click NATIVE.
2. In the navigation pane, expand Directory Servers > Default, and then select your enterprise server instance.
3. On the GENERAL drop-down list, select Properties.
4. Type the full path to your new system directory into the System Directory field.
   Notes:

   • The directory specified must exist; Enterprise Server does not create it for you.
   • The System Directory cannot be shared between enterprise servers.
5. Click APPLY.
   Note: If started when you made the change, restart the server for the change to take effect.

UNIX platforms:

You can change the system directory by running the casperm.sh utility. See To Run casperm for more information.
