Parameters:
- TRUNC"ANSI"
- Truncate in decimal to the number of digits given by the PICTURE clause, on nonarithmetic stores into COMP, BINARY and COMP-4
items. On arithmetic statements that cause the size error condition and that have no ON SIZE ERROR phrase, the result is undefined.
- TRUNC
- Truncate in decimal to the number of digits given by the PICTURE clause, on all stores into COMP, BINARY and COMP-4 items.
- NOTRUNC
- Truncate in binary to the capacity of the allocated storage, on all nonarithmetic stores into COMP, BINARY and COMP-4 items.
