This topic outlines the steps you can take to restrict regions with an External Security Facility (ESF).
To restrict regions with ESF you have two options:
- Use the default ES security configuration for the directory server. This ESF configuration and stack of security managers
will be applied to each region by default. See

- Alternatively, you can override the default option on a per region basis. See
