Walks you through the process of generating a JSP client for the AccessBooks service interface, and deploying it to your JBoss
application server.
Restriction: This topic applies only when the Enterprise Server feature is enabled.
Restriction: For service interfaces, the Microsoft Visual Studio Shell supports the generation of console clients only. To generate any
other type of client, you must install a full version of Visual Studio.
For an EJB to access a COBOL service running on an enterprise server, you must have the EJB and a JSP client running on an
application server. You now generate an EJB and a JSP client for the
AccessBooks service you deployed and configure your JBoss application server to run them.
- From
the Solution Explorer, right-click the
AccessBooks
service interface; then click
Generate Clients.
The
Output window tells you when the client has generated successfully.
- Copy the
AccessBooks.ear file, located in your project's
AccessBooks.deploy directory, to your JBoss installation's
standalone\deployments directory.
