Restriction: You must have
Visual COBOL Development Hub installed on the remote machine.
Creating connections to remote hosts To develop applications on a remote host, you need to configure a connection to it. Once created and configured, a connection
can be used for more than one remote project.
To launch a server on the remote host Launching a server is a part of the initial set up process on the remote machine. If you need to start the server again, you
can do that from the Remote Systems perspective in the IDE.
Creating remote projects You can create different types of remote COBOL projects from scratch, or use an existing local project and convert it to a
remote project.
