What is a Partner Link?
In the Process Design Studio partner links are handled automatically for you. You should not have to deal directly with partner links. However, it may be helpful for you to be acquainted with them and the role they play within a BPEL process.
BPEL defines partner links as the links or communication exchanges between all the parties with which it interacts. Partner links can link to Web services that are invoked by the BPEL process. Partner links can also describe how other Web service clients speak to you.
Partner links describe links to services:
- invoked by the process
- that invoke the process
- that do both; they are invoked by the process and they invoke the process.
