The Audit Event Consolidator

This is a process that receives audit events generated by Micro Focus products and outputs them to one or more destinations.

Processes pass their audit events to the consolidator over an Inter Process Communication (IPC) channel implemented using shared memory. The consolidator interleaves the events received from one or more sources and outputs them through one or more audit emitters.

Typically, there will be only one consolidator process per machine. Under Windows, you can start the process from the command line or as a service.

The consolidator obtains its configuration information from a file specified with a command line option.
