To delete a package

  1. Click Details against Packages in the Objects column for the server that owns the package you want to delete.
  2. Click Edit to the left of the row containing the package that you want to delete.
  3. Click Delete.
  4. Click Delete on the confirmation page.
Note:
  • You can also delete a package by using the mfpackage command. See the link in Related Topics.
  • You cannot delete a package if it is associated with any service.
  • When you delete a package, you are removing the package object from the Directory Server repository; the actual deployed files that make up the package are not deleted. For information on deleting old deployed files, see the link in Related Topics.
