Connect to Active Directory

  1. In the left pane, select ADAM ADSI Edit.
  2. Action > Connect to...
  3. Enter servername (the hostname of your AD server) for the connection name and server name. Select "Distinguished name (DN) or naming context" and enter domain-DN (something like "DC=dept,DC=mydom,DC=com"). Set the authorized user name and password to AD-admin and AD-password if you're not already logged on as that user.
