You can configure security options for both Directory Server and for your enterprise servers. Directory Server security enables you to restrict those who can access Directory Server administration screens and make changes to your Directory Server and enterprise servers. Server Enterprise Edition security enables you to restrict access to applications and to the resources that they use.
We recommend that you carefully consider the the security options that you require and configure your system appropriately.
