Filtering allows you to limit the types and numbers of items that appear in the upper pane.
The list of filters depends on your selection from the folder tree and whether the
All Descendants button is selected from the toolbar or component menu.
StarTeam provides a set of predefined filters that are intended as starting points for you to create your own custom filters. Use
the
Filter list on the toolbar to view and apply predefined file filters.

Displays all items.
- By Status and Responsibility
- Groups change requests based on their statuses and the users who are currently responsible for processing the requests.
- Not a Priority
- Displays only the change requests that are not a priority.
- Priority
- Displays only the change requests that are a priority.
- Show Unread Changes
- Displays only the change requests that you have not read (or not read since they were modified).
- Status = Closed
- Displays only the change requests that are closed.
- Status = Deferred
- Displays only the change requests that are postponed.
- Status = Open
- Displays only the change requests that are open and in progress.
- Status = Resolved

Displays all the change requests that have one of the following statuses:
As Designed,
Cannot Reproduce,
Documented,
Fixed, or
Is Duplicate.
- Status = Verified

Displays all the change requests that have one of the following statuses:
Verified As Designed,
Verified Cannot Reproduce,
Verified Documented,
Verified Fixed, or
Verified Is Duplicate.
- Type = Defect
- Displays only the change requests that have the type
Defect.
- Type = Suggestion
- Displays only the change requests that have the type
Suggestion.
