When working with Performance Manager, tasks are assigned to designated groups of users who have access to assigned projects. Within groups, users are granted specific roles within those projects. Each user account can belong to one or multiple groups. A group specifies which roles a user has within that group. Groups are assigned to projects. So the permissions that each individual user has are derived from the group/role assignments that have been defined for them. Defined permissions apply only to the projects that are assigned to the groups in which each user has a group/role assignment.
