Creating Custom Attributes

To create a custom attribute:

  1. In the menu, click Project:<Project Name> > Project Settings .
  2. Click the Attributes tab to view the list of current attributes.
  3. Click New Attribute. The New Attribute dialog box displays.
  4. Type a Name for the new attribute. This name will be displayed in list boxes when the attribute becomes available for use.
  5. Type a Description for the new attribute.
  6. Select the attribute Type. See the Custom Attribute and Requirement Property Types topic for descriptions of each type of attribute.
  7. Click OK.
