Defining Status Reasons

You need to have Manage assets permission to add or update status reasons, and Delete assets permission to remove status reasons. See Tests and Executions Permissions for detailed information.

  1. In the menu, click Project:<Project Name> > Project Settings .
  2. Click the Status Reasons tab.
  3. Click Add Status Reason below the status for which you want to add a new reason. A new status reason is added to the list of reasons.
  4. Click into the new status reason field and enter a descriptive text.
  5. Press Enter to save your status reason text.
Existing status reason texts can also be modified by clicking into the status reason field and entering a descriptive text, followed by pressing Enter.
