Database Access under Enterprise Server

The execution of container-managed services running against any XA-compliant database is supported.

A switch module that gives access to the database's XA switch structure is supplied for the following databases:

Enterprise Server supports the execution of applications running against any XA-compliant database. Micro Focus provides a switch module which provides Enterprise Server with access to the database's XA switch structure for the following databases:

Oracle: Applications precompiled using Pro*COBOL, or Cobsql, using Oracle Pro*COBOL Version 10gR1 or later.

DB2 LUW

Applications precompiled using the IBM command-line precompiler or compiled using the Micro Focus DB2 Compiler directive with:

DB2 LUW V9.1 or later
DB2 Connect V9.1 or later
