Administration and Configuration Commands
The following commands are available for performing Enterprise Server administration procedures.
casdump
Forces a system dump.
casdup
Formats a system dump or auxiliary trace so that it is suitable for analysis.
casperm
Prepares Enterprise Server for use.
cassi
Starts a service execution process. You should use this command only when you want to debug a service, using the /a option.
casstart
Starts an enterprise server.
casstop
Stops an enterprise server.
mfdepinst
Installs the services contained in a COBOL archive file (
.car
file) onto the enterprise server.
mfds
Manages the Directory Server.
mfpackage
This utility is used for maintaining services and packages installed on an enterprise server. Its function is to delete all services and packages in a given namespace for a given enterprise server region.
