Enhancements in Management Packs for System Center Operations Manager (SCOM)

The following management packs are included to integrate with Microsoft's System Center Operations Manager (SCOM):

Monitoring enhancements include:

Time threshold for IMS transactions - IMS transactions can now be configured with a time threshold - locally in the transaction definition or at a system level in Transaction Manager configuration dialog. Whenever a transaction exceeds it threshold, a message is logged to the console. This indicates if a transaction is performing slower than expected and helps identify potential problems quickly.
The following messages are monitored:
- CASKC6005I (Transaction exceeded its threshold)
- CASIP0026I (Transaction completed but exceeded its threshold)
IMS time threshold monitor - the SCOM management packs include a new monitor for detecting transactions that exceed their thresholds. This indicates if a transaction is performing slower than expected and helps identify potential problems quickly. An alert is raised in SCOM.
CICS, JES, and IMS instance names now reflect the region name.
The Transactions aggregate monitor changes from 'Internal' accessibility to 'Public'. This allows for the creation of additional child monitors using custom management packs.
