Once you have enabled MSS for an enterprise server you can enable IMS for it.
Note:
- Enabling an enterprise server for IMS sets up the basic support for IMS, but additional configuration is required, as described in the section
Specifying the Location of Genned Files.
- You also need to perform the basic configuration that any enterprise server needs. For more information see the section

Configuration in your Enterprise Server Configuration and Administration Guide. You do not need to define services, request handlers or implementation packages in order to run migrated IMS applications in an IMS-enabled enterprise server. However, you should not delete the system services and request handlers that are automatically associated with an enterprise server when you create it.
