33.5 Settings in OpenSearch for Secure Cluster Communication

Sentinel 8.6.1 comes with out of the box enhanced security features. Starting from 8.6.1, Sentinel communicates with OpenSearch in a secure manner (over SSL) and has the OpenSearch security plug-in bundled in it by default. This will give a Sentinel administrator the ability to configure all node-to-node OpenSearch communications securely and over SSL. This will open up possibilities of data getting stored across the OpenSearch nodes over geographies and still enabling data to be passed around and viewed securely by a Sentinel server. Using this feature, a user can now join all his OpenSearch clusters spread across the globe and still will be able to view and accumulate the results securely from one single search console of Sentinel.
