32.5 Unable to View Older Alerts in the Dashboard and Alert Views after Configuring OpenSearch

After configuring OpenSearch, the alert dashboard and the charts in the alert view do not refresh or display old alerts. However, the table in the alert view displays the newly generated alerts. This issue can happen because of a corrupt alert index.

Workaround: Perform the following steps:

  1. Go to the <Sentinel_installation_path>/var/opt/novell/sentinel/bin directory.

  2. To switch to novell user, run the following command:

    su novell
  3. To start the alert synchronization process, run the following command:

    ./reSyncAlert.sh
