31.1 AutoPass License Server Use Case

Mark, an administrator with Reltic Data Inc. recently placed an order for 10000 paper-based licenses of NetIQ SecureLogin to enhance the single sign-on for employees. Currently, the organization is restructuring and it has led to employee provisioning and de-provisioning. This scenario has led to a challenge for Mark and his associates to track the licenses for any of the following tasks:

  • Active SecureLogin user count: Number of SecureLogin users in the organization

  • Centralized license management: Manage SecureLogin license in the web portal

NetIQ SecureLogin is providing integration with AutoPass License Server (APLS), a Micro Focus web-based solution for managing your Micro Focus Software product licenses.   • Usage Tracking and Report: Track the current SecureLogin licenses in use, as well as the usage history for APLS administrator to get a quick trend report on the product usage.

  • Centrally manage license, product, and custom usage

  • Generate usage reports to manage pay-per-use billing
