1.0 NetIQ SecureLogin 9.0.1 Overview

NetIQ SecureLogin streamlines user authentication by providing a single secure login experience for all your desktop applications. For more information about SecureLogin, see NetIQ SecureLogin Overview Guide.

2.0 What’s New

This release includes the following enhancements:

2.1 Support for Regular Expressions with MatchReferer Command

MatchReferer command is enhanced to use an optional argument [-regex]. This optional argument supports to use value as regular expression rather than exact match.

For more information, see MatchReferer in the NetIQ SecureLogin 9.0 Application Definition Guide.

2.2 Enhanced Log for getText/Title Command in Case of Timeout

The log for getText/Title command now provides additional details. It includes window handle, window class, and the parent window class name. When Title or getText appears to be blocked and takes a long time, additional log details may be used to identify attributes of the window, such as, class to be excluded.

2.3 Modify Credentials Through GUI is Independent of Delete Credentials Through GUI

The preference setting "Allow credentials to be deleted by the User through the GUI" is enhanced to be independent of "Allow credentials to be modified by the User through the GUI". Setting the "Allow credentials to be modified by the User through the GUI" to No, does not impact "Allow credentials to be deleted by the User through the GUI" and the credentials can be deleted.

2.4 Support for Thin Client Installation

Enabling the use SecureLogin as Thin Client for seamless login to Citrix and Terminal Server, the Automation workers such as WinSSO are no longer required. Windows SSO can be deselected for installation.

2.5 Enhanced slAPI to Provide Additional Attributes

slAPI now supports access to user readable DirectoryAttributes information, GET sso:/Information/DirectoryAttributes/<attribute name>. For example, GET sso:/Information/DirectoryAttributes/sAMAccountName.

2.6 Support to Whitelist WebSSO Defined Applications

An additional Web preference is added to enable WebSSO defined applications as whitelist. When set to Yes, the whitelist rules are applied, that is, other web applications are not taken into consideration for Wizard auto prompting and Single Sign-On (SSO). You can use Add Application to override the preference and still consider applications for Wizard auto prompting and SSO.

By default, the preference is set to No.

2.7 Support for Access Manager Analytics Dashboard

This release introduces Analytics Dashboard, which provides visual analytics of access related data based on the usage, performance, and events of SecureLogin. This dashboard helps in visualizing the access patterns, tuning the policies, and getting insights about the usage of SecureLogin in your environment.

For more information, see Analytics Dashboard in the NetIQ SecureLogin 9.0 Administration Guide.

For information about how to install Analytics Dashboard, see Installing, Uninstalling, and Upgrading Analytics Dashboard Plug-in in the SecureLogin 9.0 Installation Guide.
