28.1 Configuring VBA Emulators

Perform the following steps to configure a VBA emulator:

  1. Click Start > Programs > NetIQ SecureLogin > Terminal Launcher 32 or Terminal Launcher 64.

    Terminal Launcher displays the applications for which you have created VB scripts.

  2. Click Edit Available Emulators > New.

  3. Specify a name for the emulator, select VBA as the emulator type, and click OK.

  4. Specify the following details:

    Emulator Path

    Specify the path to the emulator. For example, select R8win.exe, which supports IBM PC (Reflection for IBM).

    Emulator Session File

    Specify a name for the valid session file to be created in the .rd3x format.

    For example, let us connect to an IBM 3270 Terminal by using Trace Player that simulates the session.

  5. Click OK.

  6. Click Done.

  7. Continue with Configuring Reflections.
