Troubleshooting the Reflection for the Web Launcher
If you encounter issues with the Reflection for the Web Launcher, troubleshoot as follows.
Error: “The system administrator has set policies to prevent this installation.”
A Group Policy can be enabled that prohibits a Standard User in Windows from running the "msiexec"
application.
When this policy is enabled, the user will see this error message when running the RWebLauncher.msi
file: "The system administrator has set policies to prevent this installation."
Workaround: Use the "Run As..." feature in Windows, and run the RWebLauncher.msi
file using the built-in "Administrator" account in Windows.
