Before starting

Before using the AS/400 Client application, you must configure an interface to connect with an AS/400 via the Rumba AS/400 Communications tool or the APPC Configuration tool. These tools reside in the Rumba Tools folder. For instructions on using these tools, see Connection Tools.

Note: If you have already configured an interface with the Rumba AS/400 Display or Printer, you do not need to reconfigure the interface with either of the tools.
