Starting Web-to-Host installation

For best performance, use the installation directory specified in this procedure.

1. Using FTP or NetServer, place the /bin/setup.jar file from your electronic download in a temporary location on the iSeries. For example, /tmp.
2. Enter:

   QSH

3. Change to the /tmp directory.
4. Enter:

   java -jar setup.jar -DWebRootDir=<directory_name> -DSubDirectory=<subdirectory_name> -DLicenseKey=<license_key> -i console

   For example, if you were using the APACHEDFT Web server, your command line would look similar to this:

   java -jar setup.jar -DWebRootDir=/www/apachedft/htdocs -DLicenseKey=XXXXX-XXXXXXXXXXX -i console

5. Follow the instructions that appear during the installation.
6. When installation is complete, you are prompted for a response. Press Enter to exit the installation.
