Reflection for Secure IT UNIX Client and Server was released in December 2023 and is now available for new and maintained customers. This update addresses several security vulnerabilities, and several enhancements and software fixes.
What's New
Reflection for Secure IT UNIX Client and Server includes several enhancements and new features.

For this release, and all subsequent releases, Reflection for Secure IT UNIX provides an RPM relocatable installer for Red Hat Enterprise Linux and SUSE Linux Enterprise Servers.

Reflection for Secure IT UNIX is installed by default to
/opt/microfocus/rsit
. -
Symbolic links pointing to Reflection for Secure IT UNIX executables are now used to avoid conflicting with the default installation of OpenSSH.

The
arcfour
,arcfour128
, andarcfour256
ciphers have been removed. Arcfour has known weaknesses and should not be used. -
Added support for
rsa-sha2-512
andrsa-sha2-256
digital signatures.
Known Issues

Host keys are not preserved when upgrading from 8.4 to 8.5.
After installation, manually copy the keys from
/etc/ssh2
and restart the server. -
GSSAPI key exchange is no longer supported in FIPS mode.
