Using Tags in the Story Editor

In Rhythm, a Tag is a label that you define and then apply to Stories. What you need to know about Tags:

To manage tags, click the Tags tab GUID-D446B983-0CFE-4943-AEEB-E53AE03161EF-low.png in the right pane of the Story Editor. If Tags exist, the tab icon is decorated like this: GUID-7562D068-8CDB-49F0-8DE5-0D2E52DFA72A-low.png. There are two panels:

Assigned Tags
Contains any Tags already assigned to the Story.
Available Tags
Contains all available Project and Server Tags, in a tree.

To Create a Tag

  1. Click GUID-819C27FE-0365-450D-828B-BBCDF061FEB6-low.png New Tag.
  2. Enter the Name.
  3. If the Tag is to be available for all Projects on the server, click Server Tag.
  4. Click Save.

To Create a Nested Tag

  1. Select a Tag.
  2. Click the Gear menu GUID-E5A11DAB-2D51-4C04-AAC0-B849DE1767C3-low.png on the right.
  3. Select Add Child Tag...
  4. Enter the Name.
  5. Click Save.

To Remove a Tag from a Story

  1. Select a Tag in the Assigned Tags list.
  2. Click the Remove icon GUID-F21DEE49-9C4F-472B-B5D4-8BC7D7D07563-low.png.

To Delete a Tag

  1. Select a Tag in the Available Tags list.
  2. Click GUID-F51E1BCA-1A7F-4E93-B52F-E0993B14F7D4-low.png Delete.
