The default Smart transfer type applies to any file types that have not been defined previously.
To specify a default Smart file transfer type
From the Toolsmenu, choose Options.
Click the File Types tab.
Under Transfer method for undefined file types, select a transfer type.
NOTE:If you have files that have the same file extension, but require a different transfer method, do not set a default type. Set Transfer method for undefined file types toAsk User. Or, set the file transfer method you want to use prior to transferring the file(s).
