Discovered Subnet resources are automatically included in the list of resources available for a Platform resource. You can use the Subnet page to exclude a Subnet resource for use by migrations to the target platform. The excluded Subnet resource appears dimmed in the Subnets list. Excluded resources do not appear in other dialogs for planning.
NOTE:Transformation Manager automatically removes its associations, including those assigned to workloads that are in progress and completed.
To exclude a Subnet resource for a target platform:
In the Web Interface toolbar, select Platforms, select the platform, then click Edit.
Under Associations, select the Networks tab (or Virtual Private Clouds tab), then click Subnets.
Select the appropriate subnet, click Exclude.
If workloads are associated with the subnet, you are prompted to confirm the exclusion. Click Yes to continue, or click No to cancel.
You can use Include to enable an excluded subnet. Including the Subnet does not reinstate any prior associations the Subnet had before you excluded it.
To include an excluded Subnet resource for a target platform:
In the Web Interface toolbar, select Platforms, select the platform, then click Edit.
Under Associations, select the Networks tab (or Virtual Private Clouds tab), then click Subnets.
Select the excluded subnet, then click Include.
