21.3 Creating a Credential

You can use the Credentials page to create Credentials resources for the transformation environment of a project. You can also launch the Create Credentials dialog from any dialog that requires a Credential, such as Create Platform, Create Migration Server, and Import Workloads.

  1. Do one of the following:

    • In the Web Interface toolbar, select Resources, then select the Credentials tab.

    • In the Credential field, open the Credential menu.

  2. Click Create to open the Create Credential dialog.

  3. Specify the following information for the Credentials resource:

    • Name

    • Organization

    • Project

    • Description

    • Credential Type

    • Credential login information, which is specific to the Credential Type.

  4. Click Save to create the Credentials resource.

  5. Click Close to exit the dialog.
