PlateSpin Transformation Manager discovers available cloud IAM roles for the target AWS Cloud platform. IAM Roles vary according to the AWS Cloud selected for the platform. The permissions of the AWS subscription might also influence the IAM roles available for the platform.
For an AWS Platform, the IAM Roles tab displays the following information for each discovered IAM Role:
The name of the resource in the target environment.
The IAM policies associated with the IAM Role resource.
For an AWS Platform, the Edit IAM Role dialog displays the following information for a specified resource:
The parent target platform for the IAM Role.
The name of the IAM Role in the target platform environment.
(Optional) Specify a brief description of the IAM Role. This text appears by default in the IAM Roles list.
A list of the workloads that have been configured to use the IAM Role in Manual (tracking) mode.
