PlateSpin Transformation Manager discovers Availability Sets in the specified Azure subscription for the target Azure Cloud platform. PTM provides the following information for each Availability Set:
The parent location for the availability set in the Azure Cloud for the target platform. For example: Central US, West US, or North Europe.
The parent VM resource group that contains the Availability Set resource and its member VMs.
The Azure network assigned to the availability set. The same network will be assigned to all VMs that you create in the availability set.
The number of fault domains defined for the availability set.
The number of update domains defined for the availability set.
This setting indicates whether Azure Managed Disks are required to be used for VMs that are added to the availability set.
This setting indicates whether at least one VM has been added to the availability set.
NOTE:Azure allocates the availability set to hardware in the target region when you create the first VM. The physical hardware underlying the availability set restricts subsequent VMs to the same network and storage type that are used by the first VM.
The parent target platform for the availability set.
The name of the availability set in the target Azure platform environment.
(Optional) Specify a brief description of the resource group. This text appears by default in the second line of the Name field in the Availability Set list.
A list of the workloads that have been configured to use the availablity set.
