14.3 Save Local Connector Settings

  1. Enable SSH on the PTM Appliance.

    See Section 11.4.4, Enabling or Disabling the SSH Service

  2. From your management computer, start an SSH session for ptm-ipaddr-or-dns-name on port 22, then log in as the root user to the Appliance.

    You can use any SSH tool, such as Putty.

  3. Save a copy of the Connector settings file.

    /opt/microfocus/migrate_connector/config/settings.cfg

  4. Continue preparing for upgrade with the next task in Table 14-1, Checklist for Preparing to Upgrade the PTM Appliance.
