After you discover target Azure platforms for a project, you can associate them with workloads.
To associate a workload with an Azure platform and location:
In the Workload dialog, select the workload that will be transformed to a virtual workload, then click Edit. You can alternatively double-click the workload of interest.
On the Workload dialog in the Location panel, click Edit.
From the Platform list, select the Azure Platform that you want to assign to the target workload.
From the Location list, select the location to use for the target workload.
(Optional) Modify other Location information as appropriate.
Click Save, and then click Close.
Click Close to exit the Workload dialog.
For enhanced tracking, PTM automatically matches the platform to the target platforms for workloads in Manual (tracking) mode. You can view a list of these workloads in the Edit Platform dialog. You can also view a list of workloads associated with each Location resource.
To view workloads in Manual (tracking) mode associated with the Azure platform:
In the Web Interface toolbar, select Platforms, select the Azure platform, then click Edit.
On the Edit Platform dialog under Associations, select the Workloads tab.
View the workloads that are currently being tracked for this platform.
To view workloads in Manual (tracking) mode associated with an Azure Location resource:
In the Web Interface toolbar, select Platforms, select the Azure platform, then click Edit.
On the Edit Platform dialog under Associations, select the Locations tab, then double-click the Location resource.
In the Edit Location dialog under Associations, select the Workloads tab.
View the workloads that are currently being tracked for this Location resource.
