On the Planning > Workloads tab, the Delete option allows a user with Workload management permissions to delete a workload from the project.
NOTE:Deleting a licensed workload does not free the consumed license.
Before you execute a workload migration, you might want to delete a workload if the source workload no longer exits or is no longer a candidate for migration. For example, the workload is no longer available if the hardware fails or if you decommission the workload prior to the transformation project. Imported workloads might no longer be migration candidates if you determine that some workloads will remain in the current facility.
However, it is not necessary to delete and re-import a workload if its configuration profile changes after you first import it. You can rediscover the source workload information or use the same FQDN in the Bulk Import spreadsheet to re-import the source workload with the modified data. PTM populates the changes to the proposed workload configuration if you have not yet begun its transformation planning.
To delete a workload from a project:
In the Web Interface, select Planning in the toolbar, then select the Workloads tab.
In the Workloads list, use the Filter and Advanced Search options to locate one or more workloads that you want to delete from the project.
Select the workloads, then click Delete in the tab actions bar.
Click Yes to confirm the deletion.
