PlateSpin Migrate software includes precompiled block-based Linux kernel drivers, called block watch (blkwatch) drivers, for many non-debug Linux distributions (32-bit and 64-bit). PlateSpin Migrate uses an exactly matching blkwatch driver for block-based replication of Linux workloads.
If none of the precompiled drivers exactly matches the kernel running on your Linux workload, then you must create custom blkwatch driver that exactly matches the specific kernel running on your Linux workload before you migrate the workload.
