The encryption and decryption of write and read operations on the files present in the encrypted volumes happen on the fly. To do this, system reserves a set of encrypted buffers. The administrator can use the following nsscon parameters to view or add the encrypted buffers.

Add buffers to the existing buffer that was set only for the encrypted volumes. Thus increasing the total buffer count to the value set with this command. For example, if you provide SetTotalEncryptedBuffers value as 500 and the existing value is 200. This command adds 300 more to make the total buffer value as 500. |
