All HA nodes must run for the CIS to work properly. If any of the nodes is corrupted, you can replace it with a new recovery server. At least one healthy node must be available to recover the corrupted nodes.
To replace an infrastructure node:
On the new node that you are adding to replace the corrupted node, perform Step 1 to Step 5 of Section 10.1, Scaling Up of HA Nodes.
On the CIS core server, run the following command:
/opt/novell/cis/bin/infra-reconfigure -replace -new <FQDN of new infra node> -old <FQDN of old infra node>
Verify the replacement of node on the core server in the following files:
Configuration file: /etc/opt/novell/cis/configurationStatus.json
Config file: /etc/opt/novell/cis/config
The FQDN of the new node is listed instead of the FQDN of the old node in these files.
